Rajkumar or Raj (Aadi Saikumar) is a hot headed young guy who does not listen to anyone. Raj stays with his mother, brother and a sister who often berates him to change his ways but Raj refuses to listen to reason. One day, Raj gets an unexpected glimpse of Sashi (Surbhi Puranik) at a temple. It seems like Raj knows Sashi from somewhere and he changes his attitude completely around her but Sashi has no inkling about Raj or what he means to her. Why does Raj change his attitude around Sashi and why he acts like a ruffian when she is not around is explored in the rest of the movie.
Aadi Saikumar is back on the silver screen after a considerable gap but has still delivered a great performance. Rajkumar’s character needed two different shades, one which is that of an angry young man and the other being that of a sensible young man when he is around Sashi. Aadi manages to transition into both these roles flawlessly. Surbhi who plays the role of Sashi also essayed a great performance. The crisp storyline has gelled wonderfully with the sizzling chemistry between Surbhi and Aadi. Although it is easy to categorize Sashi into the genre of romance, the way the movie unfolds will make the viewers think otherwise. Music is another major plus point as it elevates the movie to another level. Okey Oka Lokam looks wonderful on the big screen and once again shows why the song is a huge chatbuster and is one of the most listened to songs currently.
While Sashi has relatively new actors in the form of Aadi and Surbhi, the movie has all the qualities and performances needed to become a hit. Head out to the theaters to watch Sashi this weekend.
