Karthikeya 2, the upcoming mystery movie from Nikhil Siddhartha, was actually announced to be released on August 12th. The film is the sequel to the blockbuster first part, Karthikeya, which was released in 2014. After eight years, the duo of Nikhil Siddhartha and Chandoo Mondeti return with an anticipated sequel, but this time the mystery is related to Lord Krishna. The Telugu audience are eagerly waiting to witness the magical mystery unfolding on the big screen soon. But unfortunately, the release date of Karthikeya 2 was postponed once again and the Telugu audience will need to wait much longer.
Karthikeya 2 starring Nikhil Siddhartha will clash with Nithiin’s Macherla Niyojakavargam at the box office as per the original release date of the film, that is August 12th. So, the makers of Karthikeya 2 decided to change the release date and have it in cinemas a day after. As per the latest update and announcement, Karthikeya 2 is going to be released on August 13th worldwide. The makers of both Macherla Niyojakavargam and Karthikeya 2 had discussions between them and are coming on different dates to theatres.

Karthikeya 2 is produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts in association with People Media Factory. Anupama Parameswaran played the female lead alongside Nikhil Siddhartha. Anupam Kher played a special role in the film. Kaala Bhairava composed the music for the film. Karthikeya 2 is going to have a pan-Indian release on August 13th in multiple languages.
