Tollywood senior actor, Superstar Krishna Ghattamaneni celebrates his 79th birthday today, dated 31st May. The actor was born in 1943 in Burripalem of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. From making his debut in 1965 with the film Thene Manasulu, the actor had a very long career as an actor for more than 5 decades and acted in more than 350 films. He added Padma Bhushan and many other awards to his name. His son Mahesh Babu is currently one of the top actors of Tollywood. Mahesh is now carrying the legacy and super stardom of his father forward. Mahesh Babu wrote a heartfelt note on his Instagram, sending birthday wishes to his father.
Mahesh Babu shared a picture of his father on his Instagram handle and wrote a few words wishing his father Krishna on his 79th birthday. “Happy birthday nanna. There is truly no one like you. Wishing for your happiness and good health for many years to come. Stay blessed always. Love you,” wrote Mahesh Babu on Instagram.

The superstar fans started celebrating the birthday of their hero in different cities across the Telugu states. It is also expected that there would be some official announcement about Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie with Trivikram, SSMB28, on the occasion of Krishna’s birthday. Krishna recently interacted with the media after the success of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. He congratulated Mahesh Babu that the film would be a bigger blockbuster than Pokiri and Dookudu.
