Viacom 18 Studios is making a sports drama based on the true incidents from Mithali Raj’s life. The film is titled, Shabaash Mithu. Taapsee Pannu played the role of Mitahli Raj in the film. The makers of the film recently released the official teaser of the film.
The official teaser of Shabaash Mithu shows all the elements of the film which are taken from the career of Mithali Raj. The teaser also shows the look of Taapsee Pannu as Mithali Raj in the end. The only Indian Cricketer to score 7 consecutive 50s in ODIs, Captain in 4 world cups, The youngest to score a Test 200 and The Gentleman’s game is a Woman are the few lines shown in the teaser to define the records and greatness of Mithali Raj. The Unheard Story of Woman in Blue is the tagline of the film Shabaash Mithu.

Shabaash Mithu is written by Priya Aven and directed by Srijith Mukherji. Ajit Andhare produced the film under the banner of Viacom 18 Studios. The film’s shoot started in April 2021 and was completed recently in February 2022. Most of the film’s shoot took place in Mumbai and the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
