Lady superstar Nayanthara has been in a relationship with the director Vignesh Shivan for the past few years. Nayanthara fell in love with Vignesh Shivan when they were working together for the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015. Vignesh was the director for the film and Nayanthara worked as the lead actress. From then, they were seeing each other all these years. They both engaged in a small family gathering during the lockdown last year.
According to the director Vignesh Shivan’s words said once, the couple is interested to be involved in as many projects as of now. They want to be busy with continuous work and achieve all their professional dreams. Then they would probably think about the marriage and tie the knot. Till then, they will enjoy being in love.
Despite their busy schedules, the couple never fails to meet each other regularly. As today is Valentine’s day, Nayanthara made a surprise visit to Vignesh’s place and expressed her love on this special day. Vignesh Shivan shared the same on his Instagram handle.

Currently, Vignesh is busy with the finishing works of his upcoming film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal. Besides writing and directing the film, Vignesh also produced the film under the banner of Rowdy Pictures. Nayanthara is one of the lead actresses in the film. Samantha is the other lead actress. Vijay Sethupathi is the lead actor. The trailer of the film was released already and it got a very huge response. The film is getting ready to be released on 28th April, 2022.
