Dwaraka Creations’ Nandamuri Balakrishna, Boyapati Sreenu’s combination mass entertainer Akhanda successfully crossed the 50 Days milestone in 103 centers across the Telugu states. Another prominent director Gopichand Malineni took to social media to announce the list of theaters and congratulated the Akhanda‘s unit.

Natasimha Balayya and mass director Boyapati Sreenu once again proved to be one of the craziest and most successful combinations in the Telugu film industry. Earlier, the duo delivered two blockbusters namely Simhaa and Legend. Now they have hit a hat-trick in their combination. Just like Simhaa and Legend, which were the biggest hits for Balakrishna, Akhanda is heading as the highest grosser for the actor.
On the other hand, Akhanda successfully completing a 50-days run in the above a hundred centers is a rare feat in recent times, not just in Tollywood, but in the entire Indian film industry. The film was made with the highest ever budget for Balakrishna and has done a business of above Rs. 200 Crore business as well, which includes theatrical gross and non-theatrical revenue.
Akhanda indeed provided huge profits to producers and the distributors, which again is another rare achievement in recent times as well. It proved to be a profitable project overseas too. It has done a whopping business in the United Kingdom and Australia while crossing the 1 million dollar mark in the United States of America.
When there was so much uncertainty over theatrical business due to an upsurge in omicron cases, Akhanda came and conquered the box office. Despite new releases every week, the mass action entertainer continued to make solid business. The film collected good numbers in its seventh week as well.
Akhanda‘s teamwork resulted in an exceptional outcome. S Thaman’s background score is another biggest asset of the movie, in addition to C Ram Prasad’s cinematography and rich production values of Dwaraka Creations. Pragya Jaiswal played the leading lady in the movie, while Srikanth played the antagonist, which is the personification of cruelty and selfishness. Jagapathi Babu appeared in a vital role in Akhanda.
