Panja Vaisshnav Tej made his debut in Tollywood with the Buchi Babu Sana directorial Uppena, which later went on to shatter multiple box office collection records. Riding high on the success of Uppena, Vaisshnav Tej will be next seen in the upcoming movie Konda Polam where he stars alongside Rakul Preet Singh. Konda Polam was rigorously shot in just 40 days and is now setting fire across theatres.

1) Story:
Konda Polam is based on the novel of the same name written by Sannapureddi Venkatarami Reddy. The books received tremendous acclaim from the public and a lot of eyes are on the movie as well. The movie is set in the dense forests of Vikarabad district in Telangana and the visual cinematography is top notch as can be seen in the trailer which received an equally good response from netizens. Vaisshnav Tej will be seen as Katari Ravindra Yadav, a man working in the city who returns back to his village to help his father see through a famine. Rakul Preet will be seen as Obulamma who knows the ins and outs of the dense jungle. During a famine, villagers usually venture out into the forests with their livestock to let them graze while fighting against predators and unsavoury elements. How Ravindra and Obulamma manage to fight against all odds to take care of their community forms the crux of the story of Konda Polam.
2) Krish Jagarlamudi
Konda Polam is helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi who is one the most famous directors in Tollywood. Krish who made a mark in Tollywood with Kanche, has a grand vision and does not shy away from incorporating gripping fight sequences which are extremely well researched and well thought out. All his movies in his career have turned out to be blockbusters and Vaishhnav Tej would be looking forward to score his second industry hit with Konda Polam. If the trailer is any indication then Krish Jagarlamudi’s grand vision would definitely wow the audience in theaters.
3) Panja Vaisshnav Tej
Panja Vaisshnav Tej is currently basking in the glory he earned from his debut movie, Uppena. Songs from Konda Polam, which were composed by Keeravani were released on the Mango Music Label, have already become fan favourites and are trending on the internet.
