Synopsis :
Madhan is a street racer with a sister Raji, who is getting married to Rajashekhar. Madhan cannot get past the humiliation by Rajashekar and disapproves of their relationship. How Rajashekar and Madhan resolve the misunderstanding, makes up the movie.

“Orey Baammardhi” Telugu Movie Review:
Story:
Madhan (Prakash Kumar) is a street racer who lives with his elder sister Raji (Lijomol Jose.) When Raji’s marriage is fixed with a stern traffic policeman Rajashekar (Siddharth,) Madhan disapproves of their relationship due to the past humiliation he faced in the hands of Rajashekar. Madhan’s bike gets stolen and misunderstandings between him and Rajsehekar only increase when his bike is used to snatch chains. How will Rajashekar and Madhan overcome their differences and unite as family to nab the actual culprit forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Orey Bammardhi is a two man show. Siddharth and Prakash Kumar own the movie. Siddharth is mostly known for essaying youthful and lover boy roles. The actor completely sheds that image and gets into the skin of Rajashekar, a hyper masculine traffic police officer. Prakash Kumar as a street racer taps into the potential he holds as an actor. Lijomol Jose is decent in her role as Raji.
Highlights:
Keeping the performances aside, the movie’s strong suit is Sasi’s direction. The director is excellent at infusing emotional elements in a commercial movie and not overdoing it. The relationship dynamic between Madhan and Rajashekar, Madhan and Raji are the highlights of the movie. Prakash Kumar’s bike stunts are eye-catching.
Verdict:
The story of two men in a family being at each other’s neck and later reuniting to keep the bad guys at bay is not exactly novel to the audiences. The movie bears a strong semblance to the 90s multi starrers. However, Orey Baammardhi is an interesting watch with a mix of family bonding, melodrama and action.
