Ram Pothineni fondly known as the Energetic Star, is one such actor with many talents, be it dance, acting and resplendent looks, we can never get enough of him.  Ram Pothineni shot to fame with his debut film, Devdas and marked his place in the industry with his second popular film, Jagadam.

At the age of 16, Ram Pothineni made a popular romantic and action entertainer titled Jagadam, which was released 14 years ago on this day.  Jagadam was helmed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Aditya Babu.  With Jagadam, Ram Pothineni was recognized for his action and mass looks.  With the talent of acting, comic timing and dance, he was truly identified for his impeccable performance in the Telugu film industry. 

As the film Jagadam completes 14 years since the release on this day, Ram pothineni felt nostalgic and penned a heartfelt note on Twitter today.  Ram wrote in the tweet “ #Jagadam is like that one love failure that you will never forget in life..even after 14years..it’s still a bit painful yet beautiful..thank you @aryasukku for this beautiful experience can’t wait for [email protected] you were the soul of Jagadam…..(sic.)”

Jagadam is a story of a young boy who loves, fights and involves himself in all the goon activities.  He loves the idea of people being afraid of him.  Over time he joins in a gang and ends up opposing the leader due to land settlement issues.  He loses his brother in the process and realizes violence is not a way to lead a good life. Jagadam  ends on a good note, making one realize anger and violence is not a proper basis to lead a happy life.
