Mega hero Panja Vaishnav Tej, who is the brother of Sai Dharam Tej, is all set to make his debut in Tollywood with the upcoming film Uppena. The film also marks the debut of Krithi Shetty in Tollywood, who is the leading lady. Uppena created crazy expectations among the movie buffs and is currently one of the most awaited movies. Finally, the romantic film Uppena gets its release date and fans are overwhelmed by this news.
The makers of the film took to social media and announced Uppena would be released in theatres on February 12, 2021. During Valentines’ week, Uppena which revolves around love and romance is being released all over the Telugu states.

Uppena is directed by Buchi Babu and is touted to be a rustic action love story. The film features Vaishnav Tej as a fisherman and Krithi Shetty as a young college girl. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing a key role, will be reportedly seen as the father of the leading lady. The teaser which was released, garnered 10 Million views.
