SS Rajamouli is one of the maverick filmmakers of Indian cinema and there are no two thoughts about it. With extravagant films like the Baahubali series and Magadheera, Rajamouli has become a famous director, and every movie of his is considered the biggest movie in the film industry.
SS Rajamouli is currently busy filming his latest project RRR, a fictional retelling of the lives of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, who were Indian freedom fighters. The ambitious project is a pan Indian movie releasing in several languages and features actors from Bollywood and English cinema. Speaking about the fire and water concept in RRR, Rajamouli, said, “Fire and Water are two opposing elements. One can destroy the other. But if they come together and create steam, the force generated can run the motor of the world (sic.)”
About the film’s intriguing title, Rajamouli says, “It helps to have a common title across all languages for a film of this scale. Initially, RRR was just a working title. But that itself became so popular. So we were forced to adopt it because of its popularity (sic.)”

Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) is Rajamouli’s next magnum opus and a historical drama that is one of the biggest and highly anticipated movies in the Indian film industry. Ram Charan will play Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr NTR will play Komaram Bheem in the film as lead actors. The movie boasts of a diverse ensemble cast from all over the world like Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakaini, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody in pivotal roles. M M Keeravani will be composing the music while DVV Entertainments is producing the movie.
