Radhe Shyam is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The big-budget Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shayam shooting is happening in Italy after 6 months of Coronavirus lockdown. The first look of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, which showed an epic romance, has made everyone curious about what’s in the store. The leading lady, Pooja Hegde, finally revealed a few interesting tidbits about her role in the much-awaited film.
Given the title, one wonders if the film is the tale of Radha and Krishna. Pooja clarifies, “My character is not the mythological Radha, we have just been inspired by the iconic lovers (sic.)” There was also a strong buzz that Pooja Hegde will be seen in the dual role in Radhe Shyam but it seems like that’s not true. The actress set the record straight and said it’s not a double role but promises it’s something new and interesting.
Pooja said the show must go on in the entertainment industry even if we are shooting in Italy, which is one of the countries to witness the second surge of Coronavirus. The shoot in Italy will go on till October 31, followed by a brief stint in Hyderabad before wrapping it up.

Radhe Shyam is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and produced by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies jointly. The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, while being dubbed in Tamil and Malayalam. The big-budget romantic-drama features an ensemble cast with the likes of Priyadarshi, Sachin Khedekar, Murli Sharma, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathyan in pivotal roles. The makers have officially announced today that the motion poster of Radhe Shyam will release on October 23, which marks Prabhas’ birthday
