Director Gunasekhar who tasted box-office success with his mythological films is back with yet another release. Gunasekhar had announced his next titled Hiranyakashyapa, with Rana Daggubati but that seems to be postponed due to Coronavirus. As the film is a massive budget film, the director is reluctant to begin the shooting process during COVID times.
In the meantime, director Gunasekhar has decided to work on another mythological film. Yesterday, the director released the first look motion poster of his next film and fans are already excited. The director took to Twitter and this announcement and wrote, “Amidst this global pandemic, despite Hiranyakashyapa pre-production work completed, the massive scale shoot will take off later than anticipated and in the meantime, I’ve embarked on another film…. “(sic). So, what is the new film all about? It is said to be a love story based during the Adi Parva of Mahabharata. The director wrote, “Before manifesting the spectacle of Narasimha avatar on the silver screen in Hiranyakashyapa. Presenting to you a whimsical ‘Tale of Love’ from the Adi Parva of the Mahabharata..(sic.)”

The cast and crew of the mythological film is yet to be finalised. The film is produced by Neelima Gunasekar and Mani Sharma will compose the music. Meanwhile, yesterday, Gunasekhar celebrated 5 years of his iconic film Rudhramadevi starring Anushka Shetty, Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati.
