Legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, who passed away yesterday due to COVID-19, will be laid to rest at his farmhouse in Chennai today with full state honours, announced Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaswami on September 25. The musical maestro’s last rites were held by his family members at his farmhouse at 11 A.M. today.
After performing all the rituals, his body was kept for public homage and several politicians, musicians and fans paid their last respects to the legendary singer at his Chennai house.
