Ram Charan Shares BTS Video To Remember Magadheera On 11th Anniversary

The S.S Rajamouli fantasy drama Magadheera, starring Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal, was released on July 31, 2009 and completed 11 years today.  The South film went on to become a cult classic for various reasons such as the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair, extravagant locations, thrilling action sequences and foot tapping songs.  This film is considered as a classic love fantasy, which will be cherished by all generations.

As the film completes 11 Years of release, Ram Charan took a trip down the memory lane and penned a heartfelt note on social media.  Sharing a BTS clip of the film, Ram Charan wrote, “A memorable experience that mentored me & put every skill of mine to test.  I’m humbled by the love & affection shown by the entire team of #Magadheera & the audience.  @ssrajamouli garu, you motivate me to push my limits & remind me that hard work always pays off (sic.)”

Magadheera was known for many breathtaking scenes but two scenes are the major highlights of the film.  One is the electric spark between Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal when they touch each other.  The other epic scene which struck the bull’s eye with the masses, where Charan (Kala Bhairava) fights with 100 warriors and dies in his attempt to re enthrone his queen (Kajal) after she is overthrown by her conspirators.  These scenes created a storm in the theatres and are still cherished by Telugu audiences after 11 years.

The film also featured Dev Gill as the antagonist and the late actor Srihari in a crucial role. Magadheera was a blockbuster hit of 2009 by breaking the box office records by Rs. 125 crores.
