The powerful duo, Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi’s Master is without doubt one of the most awaited films of 2020. Fans are thrilled to watch these both talented actors on the big screen and recently, Vijay spoke about his co star Vijay Sethupathi and the buzz about the movie only became louder.
The actor praised his co star Vijay Sethupathi by saying, “Vijay Sethupathi has now become a person who cannot be avoided. We have seen many negative characters, but his role in Master will be special. I asked him why he agreed to do the film and he shut me down by saying four words, I really like you(sic.)”
He also appreciated his director Lokesh Kanagaraj and said, “With Maanagaram, Lokesh made us notice his talent. His next film Kaithi made us watch it again and again. Lokesh has a special talent. Being a banker, he has managed to do a film like Maanagaram, which has a complex script. He wouldn’t even have a scene break up paper in his hand on the set of Master, I was confused seeing this. I wondered how to work with him for the next few months. Later, I realised, Lokesh is not just a planner, but a master planner(sic.)”

Master also features Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah as the female leads. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for Master while Xavier Britto is producing the movie. The buzz was Master would be released on Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday, June 22nd but that didn’t happen. Now, fans are waiting for the news of the release date.
