Arundhati is the great grand daughter of the Raja of Gadwal Mahasamsthan. Arrangements are being made for her marriage at her native place. Her beau asks her to come to the fort of Gadwal, where she faces a horrible experience. Chandramma her maid tells about the historic story about her grandmother Jejamma. Jejamma was an expert in painting, dancing and fighting. She had an elder sister who was married off to her father’s nephew Pasupati. Pasupati a womaniser used to rape the women he liked and kill those who objected. Jejamma’s sister committed suicide and the people of Gadwal thrashed Pasupati severely and tied him to his horse when they got the approval from Jejamma and her father. Pasupati comes to seek revenge and dies in the hands of Pasupati!
