Vikram Kumar is an Indian movie director working in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema. After his graduation, Vikram Kumar joined the tutelage of one of the finest directors of India Priyadharshan with Chandralekha and assisted him for couple of movies Hera Pheri and Doli Sajake Rakhna.
Vikram has won a National Award for his short film ‘Silent Scream’ and also introduced actress Shriya in his debut film Ishtam in Telugu. The debalce of the film forced Vikram to fly back to Chennai and he rose to fame with the psychological bilingual horror-flick Yavarum Nalam in Tamil and 13 B in Hindi.
The movies success brought him back to the business stronger than before and found another success with Nithin’s Ishq followed by Akkineni family’s Manam which fetched him the Filmfare award for the Best Director.
Vikram Kumar is currently directing Suriya, Samantha’s 24 which is all set to hit the screens in 2016.
