Vamshi Paidipally is an Indian film director whose works are known in Telugu Cinema. His movies are big and lavish and he doesn’t believe in class or mass but says his films are a perfect blend of both. Vamshi’s father had a theater in Adilabad and he used to watch every movie and that’s how the fanatics towards the movies began during childhood.
After working as Software professional for a while, felt it wasn’t any more exciting and realized films would be his next dream and quit the well-paid software job to try his luck in the Telugu film industry. He kickstarted the fresh career as an assistant director to Jayanth C Paranjee for Prabha’s debut Eshwar movie and worked for a while as an assistant for movies Varsham, Mass, and Bhadra.
It was while working for Bhadra, producer Dil Raju noticed the spark in him and offered Vamshi a chance to direct Munna. But, unfortunately, the movie remained an average grosser and the director. With the movie’s undesired result, Vamshi took a break from movies and after a brief hiatus, he has come up with the blockbuster Brindavanam followed by yet another blockbuster Yevadu. Currently, Vamshi is busy shooting for Nagarjuna-Karthi’s multi-starre “Oopiri” which is slated for 2016 release.
