Urmila Matondkar

    Urmila Matondkar is a versatile Indian Actress who predominantly worked in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi and Telugu Cinema. Urmila has taken Bollywood by storm with Ram Gopal Varma’s Bollywood debut flick Rangeela. It’s a lesser known fact that Urmila was child artist and has appeared in movies like Karm, Kalyug, and Masoom.

    After playing the child artist, Urmila made her debut as heroine with Narasimha and her successful stint followed with super hits like Judaai, Satya, Rangeela, Chamatkar and many more. After essaying the glam-doll characters for a while, Urmila has shifted to the intense and psychological characters that have a greater scope to perform and has won “Film fare Critics Award for Best Actress” for Bhoot movie. Her collaboration with the director Ram Gopal Varma has earned the stardom and has appeared in few Telugu movies like Gayam, Antham, Satya, Bharateeyudu and Anaganaga Oka Roju.
