Trisha

    Trisha is an Indian Actress who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu Cinema. Before turning into an actress, Trisha was the model and has won Miss Madras (now Chennai) award in 1999 and Miss India Pageant’s Miss Beautiful Smile award in 2001. She did few Television commercials before entering into films.

    Trisha’s movie debut was with Jodi in which she played heroine Simran’s friend. Her first commercial hit as a heroine was Vikram’s Saamy followed by Vijay’s Ghilli (remake to Telugu film Okkadu). After a successful stint in Tamil Cinema, she forayed into Telugu films with the super-duper hit Varsham alongside Prabhas winning her the first Film fare South Award for the best actress.

    Her subsequent hits Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana and Athadu attained her the stardom and number 1 position in Tollywood. In 2010, Trisha collaborated with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in issuing a public appeal to domesticate stray dogs rather than craving for pedigreed foreign breeds. Trisha replaced Rani Mukherjee as the brand ambassador of Fanta India. She is the brand ambassador of Scooty Pep+, for which she has replaced Preity Zinta. She is also the brand ambassador for Vivel Di Wills, a product by ITC Limited. In 2011, She replaced Asin in Fairever fairness cream commercial. Some of the best-known movies of Trisha are Varsham, King, Athadu, Krishna, Pournami, and Teenmaar.
