Tanikella Bharani

    Tanikella Bharani is an Indian actor, screenwriter, poet and director predominantly working in Telugu Cinema. Tanikella Bharani hails from the family of literates, his uncles were great poets. After completing his graduation, Bharani started his career as a dialogue writer for stage shows and attained the diploma in Theater arts.

    It was upon the advice of veteran actor Rallapalli, Bharani moved to Chennai to try his luck in movies. His first chance as a dialogue writer was with “Kanchu Kavacham” and got famous with Vamsi’s “Ladies Tailor”. In the later years, Bharani became famous as an actor with Ram Gopal Varma’s “Shiva” in which he plays the henchman to Raghuvaran.

    Tanikella Bharani’s role of “Nanaji” got connected well with the audience and he became a busy actor henceforth. The versatile genius has won 3 Nandi Awards for his exemplary work towards the Cinema and has directed the most critically acclaimed “Midhunam”.
