Sudeep

Sudeep aka Sudeep Sanjay is an Indian film actor, producer, director, dubbing artist and a playback singer in Kannada cinema. He occasionally appears in Hindi and Telugu cinema.

Kiccha Sudeep as he is fondly called by his fans, Sudeep began his career with Premada Kadambari, a Television serial which aired on Udaya TV and later forayed into films with Brahma but the film never got released. Sudeep’s next movie O Kusuma Baale too got shelved in the production stages. His first official release was Thayavva that was released in 1997. Sudeep continued playing a supporting role in the Sunil Kumar Desai directed movie Prathyartha and rose as a leading actor in the same director’s Sparsha. In 2001, Sudeep rose to stardom with the super hit film Huchcha, which earned him the fan following.

Sudeep has directed few films like My Autograph, #73 Shaanthi Nivaasa, Veera Madakari, Just Maath Maathalli, Kempe Gowda and Maanikya. The talented actor also hosts a TV Show Bigg Boss season 1 and is the captain of Karnataka Bulldozers cricket team that competes in the Celebrity Cricket League.

Sudeep attained nation-wide fame with the antagonist role in SS Rajamouli’s Eega and the role of Aslam Khan in India’s biggest blockbuster, the magnum opus Baahubali – The Beginning and the actor would be reprising the same role in the sequel Baahubali – The Conclusion.
