Sonu Sood

Sonu Sood (born on 30th July 1973) is an Indian model-turned-actor who predominantly works in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Sonu Sood made his debut into films with Tamil film Kallazhagar in 1999 and his first film in Telugu is Hands Up! in 2000.

The actor entered Bollywood with freedom fighter Bhagat Singh’s biopic Shaheed -E-Azaam as Bhagat Singh and garnered fame with Mani Ratnam’s Yuva and Aashiq Banaya Aapne followed by Chandramukhi and it was Nagarjuna’s Super which established him as a prominent actor in Tollywood followed by Athadu. The stupendous success of Arundathi, a horror-thriller in which Sonu Sood played the cruel “Aghora”, earned him the Nandi Award for the best villain in 2009 and the talented actor is riding high on success with many super hits to his credit. Sonu Sood has left his impact in Bollywood too in movies like Dabangg, Bbudddah…Hoga Tera Baap, Singh is King and Jodhaa Akbar. Sonu Sood’s most famous Telugu movies include Super, Athadu, Dookudu, Aagadu, Kandireega, Anjaneyulu, Ek Niranjan, Theenmaar, Arundathi and Bhai.
