Relangi Narasimha Rao is an Indian movie director predominantly working in Telugu Cinema. A legacy of humor, Relangi Narasimha Rao, a distant relative to veteran comedian Relangi Venkata Ramaiah, hails as one of the best comic directors in Telugu and his collaboration with actors Rajendra Prasad and Chandra Mohan has resulted in some of the best comic works.
Relangi Narasimha Rao, son of veterinary Doctor was keen in pursuing the career in movie field. Observing his interest, his father encouraged him and after working as a clap boy to scrip-writer under various movie makers, Relangi Narasimha Rao finally got settled as an assistant director to Dasari Narayana Rao and assisted him for several years.
He made cinematic debut as a director with “Chandamama” but it was “Nenu Maa Aavida” that got released first. He became popular for clean entertainers with a high dose of comedy. Out of 74 films directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao, 32 films had Rajendra Prasad has as the Hero. After a long sabbatical, the director is all set to make his comeback with “Eluka Majaka” with Vennela Kishore in the lead role.
