Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao is a veteran character artist of over 800 films popular in Telugu and Tamil films. A Government employee in Ministry of Information Broadcasting as a staff artist in Song and Drama division. His passion towards movies forced him to quit the job and pursue the career in movies. Rallapalli made his debut with “Sthree” in a small role. His role in “Oorummadi Bathukulu” fetched Rallapalli the Nandi Award and Bapu’s “Thoorpu Velle Railu” made him the busiest artist.

    In a career spanning over 5 decades, Rallapalli has donned a variety of roles ranging from comedian to character artist to the villain. Some of Rallapalli’s memorable films include “Abhilasha”, “Sitaara”, “Anveshana”, “Maharaju”, “Apri 1 Vidudala” and “Simhadri”.
