Rajendra Prasad

Rajendra Prasad (born on 19th July 1956) is an Indian actor who primarily works in Telugu Cinema and is considered as one of the finest comic heroes in Telugu Film Industry. He is the only hero whom every movie audience adores despite being the fans of some other heroes. Rajendra Prasad made debut with Bapu’s Sneham in 1977 and went on to act in supporting roles for few years.

It was Jandhyala’s Aha Naa Pellanta that established him as a solo hero. His association with Jandhyala, Relangi Narasimha Rao, Vamshi, EVV Sataynarayana and SV Krishna Reddy had given many super hits. He was fondly called as Natakireeti. Rajendra Prasad has won 2 Nandi Awards, 1 SIIMA Award and 1 CineMAA Award and was bestowed with honorary Doctorate by Andhra University.

During the late 90s, Rajendra Prasad has shifted to supporting roles in movies. He is currently serving as President for Telugu Movie Artists Association. In a career spanning 35 years, he has acted in more than 200 films. His most popular films are Aha Naa Pellanta, Ladies Tailor, Rajendruru Gajendrudu, Mayalodu, Julayi, Aagadu and S/o Satyamurthy.
