PL Narayana (September 10, 1935 – November 3, 1998) was an Indian film actor and dialogue writer most prominent in Telugu and Tamil cinema. A versatile actor PL Narayana can get into the skin of the character and can emote any emotion with great ease, be it a drunkard or a sympathetic poor man or downtrodden man who rises against the evil system, he has donned many such memorable roles in the illustrious career.
PL Narayana rose to fame with T Krishna’s Neti Bharatam. Mostly he played the roles of those of downtrodden people and those in misery. The talented actor and dialogue writer has been bestowed with 5 Nandi Awards and the most prestigious National Award for the supporting Actor in Yagnam (1992).
