    Nayantara (born as Diana Mariam Kurian) is an Indian Actress who predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam Cinema. Nayantara is born in a Malayali Christian Family to Kurian Kodiyattu and Omana Kurian. Her father being an Airlines Officer, she has studied at several parts of India. She made her acting debut with Malayalam movie Manassinakkare and the movie’s commercial success made her pursue acting as a profession as she was reluctant to take up the profession initially.

    The success brought her more offers and she forayed into Tamil and Telugu Cinema in the subsequent years. Her Tamil movies Chandramukhi alongside Rajinikanth and Surya’s Ghajini made her the most sought-after actress. Her debut in Telugu was Venkatesh-starrer Lakshmi.
