Krishna Bhagavan (Papa Rao Chowdary)

Krishna Bhagavan (born as Papa Rao Chowdary) is a popular Telugu comedian well-known for his punch lines. He has a unique style of satirical comic timing. He hails from a remote village Kaikavolu, in the East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. After finishing the Schooling, he went to Kakinada for Intermediate and later to Hyderabad to pursue his graduation in Dr. BR Ambedkar College.

Unable to get the seat in the master’s he choose to try his luck in films as he was a movie buff since childhood and has given many stage shows. Director Vamsi has given him the first offer in his movie Maharshi, though he got a chance to act in few movies, none of them brought him recognition and career languished for over 10 years and it was his association again with Vamshi in Avunu Vallu Iddaru Istapaddaru that changed his luck and made him the busiest actor. His most popular movies include Kabaddi Kabaddi, Dubai Seenu, Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters. Apart from being an actor, he is a well-versed writer as well.
