Krish (Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi)

    Krish (born as Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi on 10th November 1978) is a noted film maker whose works are well-known in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi Cinema. He deals with sensible issues and human emotions in his films. Krish came back to India leaving a well-paid job in the USA to pursue his career in film making and it was during his stay in Pune while traveling with the local driver whose ideologies inspired him to make a film based on his character and that’s how Gamyam happened. With bound script on hand, he approached the producers, but none has come forward to produce the film.

    Finally, it was his father and his cousin who produced the film. The movie was released in 2008 with Allari Naresh, Sharwanand and Kamalinee Mukherjee in the lead roles and turned out to be a commercial hit apart from winning critical acclaim and many awards. His next outing Vedam with Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj and Anushka too was hit, got rave reviews from the critics and has won multiple awards of Best Actor, Director, Actress and Best Film and in fact it’s the only film after Jeevanatarangalu. Krish made his Bollywood debut with Akshay starrer Gabbar which is a remake to Chiranjeevi’s Tagore. His latest Telugu release Kanche, a love story set in the backdrop of World War II has received the positive response and is running successfully.
