Koti (Saluri Koteswara Rao)

    Koti (born as Saluri Koteswara Rao) is an Indian music director notable for his works in Southern films. The son of legendary music composer, S Rajeshwara Rao, Koti started his career as an assistant to popular music director Chakravarthy for several years before emerging as the leading music directors of his generation.

    Koti, in the early 1980s, teamed up with another music director Raju, the son of veteran music director TV Raju, resulting the duo of Raj-Koti. The Raj-Koti duo introduced the rap and pop music to the Telugu Cinema and ruled the Telugu industry for over a decade before parting ways. After parting, Koti emerged himself as a leading music director during the mid-90s to mid-2000s. Koti’s most popular movies include “Pedarayudu”, “Arundathi”, “Rikshavodu”, “Hitler” and “Nuvvu Naaku Nachav”.
