Harish Shankar (born on 31st March 1979) is Indian director who primarily works in Telugu Cinema. As a child, Harish Shankar had acted in many stage shows and has learned the art of writing dialogues and later got apprenticed under as an assistant director under S Gopal Reddy and Ravi Raja Pinisetty and also did blink and miss appearances in movies like Ninne Istapaddanu and Modati Cinema.
His directorial debut was Ravi Teja’s Shock, a box-office failure. But, Ravi Teja trusted his caliber and offered him chance to direct Mirapakay, the biggest hits of 2010. His next venture was with Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh which emerged as one of the biggest hits of all-time in Telugu Industry, giving Pawan Kalyan, who was going through a lean patch, the most needed hit. However, his next movie, the much hyped Ramayya Vosthavayya with NTR was a debacle. Harish Shankar’s latest movie is Subramanyam For Sale with Sai Dharam Tej is a decent commercial hit.
