Divya Bharati was an Indian actress who predominantly appeared in Telugu and Hindi Cinema. Her fetish toward the movies started at an early age and used to imitate the heroine’s dance movements. Few Bollywood filmmakers signed her for few projects, but all of them were stalled for unknown reasons.
Divya Bharati’s career was struck until the ace producer D Ramanaidu signed her for Telugu movie “Bobbili Raja” opposite to Venkatesh. Thus, at the age of 16 Divya Bharati made her onscreen debut. The movie was a massive hit and praises started pouring from all quarters, fans are in awe of her beauty. Divya Bharati became a star overnight and offers started to plunge in and has been paired with all the top heroes of that time. In no time, she became the top heroine in Tollywood which eventually led her foray into Bollywood with “Vishwatma” followed by many super hits.
She holds the record of acting in 14 films in Hindi in just 1 year that too as a newcomer. It’s a record which is still intact. At the very young age of just 18, she was married to Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala in 1992 and in less than a year of her marriage, under mysterious conditions, the heroine died after falling down from her balcony on 5th April 1993. The movie roles which were designed to her earlier went to other heroines in movies like “Ladla”, “Mohra”, “Dilwale Dulhaniya Lejayenge”, “Viyapath” and “Andolan”.
