Bhumika Chawla

    Bhumika Chawla (born as Rachana Chawla on 21st August 1978) is one of the finest actresses who predominantly worked in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Bhojpuri Cinema. Post her education, Bhumika started her career with few ad commercials followed by few music albums. She forayed into the films with Sumanth’s Telugu film Yuvakudu. Her second film Kushi with Pawan Kalyan was the biggest hit and earned her the Film fare Award for the Best Actress.

    The success streak continued with back to back hits in the form of Okkadu, Simhadri and Tere Naam, her first Bollywood flick. The films wans’t just highest grosser at box-office, it was critically acclaimed as well. After a successful stint in films, Bhumika married her long-time boy friend and yoga instructor Bharat Thakur in 2007. Few of the most notable films of Bhumika are Kushi, Okkadu, Missamma, Simhadri, Naa Autograph and Anasurya.
