Anjali

Anjali is an Indian Actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil Cinema. She hails from Razole, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. After finishing her schooling, Anjali moved to Chennai, finished her graduation in Mathematics and started pursuing the career in movies.

Anjali started acting in short films which eventually paved her way into mainstream cinema. Anjali was spotted by Telugu Director Siva Nageshwara Rao and was offered the role in his film, Photo (2006) in which she played the role of a ghost followed by a romantic flick Premalekha Raasa (2007), but both the films turned out to be major disasters.

It was her Tamil movie Kattradhu Thamizh (2007) which though not commercially successful, it was highly acclaimed by the critics and Anjali has won the Best Female Debutante Film fare Award. Angadi Theru another Tamil flick which later dubbed into Telugu as Shopping Mall gave Anjali the major break. The movie was a super success and has received critical acclaim too, winning her Film fare Award for Best Actress – Tamil. Her performance got rave reviews and she won a chance to play the titular role of Seetha in Telugu multi-starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu with Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu in the lead roles. The film turned out to be super hit and her performance has won many applauds. Anjali’s famous movies include Shopping Mall, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Balupu, Masala, and Geethanjali.
