Aarti Agarwal is an American-born Indian Actress primarily worked in Telugu films. Aarti was born and raised in the USA as her parents migrated to the Country long back.
She made her Bollywood debut with Paagalpan, but the movie bombed at Box Office without bringing her any recognition.
Aarti later shifted to Tollywood and attained stardom with her debut movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav. In no time, she has become a face of the Telugu Cinema and was a rage among all age groups. She has been paired alongside all the star heroes of Telugu Cinema including Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, NTR, Prabhas and Mahesh Babu. Her combination with Chiranjeevi resulted in the all-time industry hit “Indra” during that time.
However, the success was short-lived. Due to controversies of the love affair with a co-star and becoming flabby, offers were on the decline and she soon faded into the oblivion. With career taking a backseat, she moved back to the USA and married to Ujjwal Agarwal in 2007 which resulted in divorce in 2009. She was living with her parents in the USA for the past few years.
In an unfortunate situation, the film star passed away on 6th June 2015 from a heart attack, which was caused by complications from liposuction surgery she underwent few days ago. Aarti’s younger sister Aditi Agarwal too is a noted heroine in Telugu Cinema.
