Changure Bangaru Raja is the latest crime thriller film written and made under the direction of Satish Varma. The film features Karthik Rathnam in the lead role and Goldie Nissy opposite him. Karthik Rathnam has already made his performance stand out with his previous films, which include C/O Kancharapalem (2018) and Naarappa (2021.) His excellence and ease of performance made the audience connect to the role he played. Karthik has also appeared in a couple of web series released on OTT platforms. The trailer and other promotional material for Changure Bangaru Raja gave a glimpse of this fun filled crime story. Karthik Rathnam is playing a different role this time.
Ravi Teja is the producer of Changure Bangaru Raja under RT Teamworks, in association with Frame By Frame Pictures. Krishna Saurabh composed the music for this film. Plot:
Bangarraju (Karthik Ratnam,) a mechanic, stays in Narsipatnam where people search for colored stones, which they sell in exchange for huge amounts. Once Bangarraju made an agreement with Somu Naidu (Raj Tirandasu) over a stone. However, things turn bad when police arrest Bangarraju as a suspect in Somu Naidu’s murder. Bangarraju escapes from jail and sets out to find the real killer in six days. Who killed Somu Naidu? What is the connection between Bangarraju, the stones and the murder? To find out how this crime thriller unfolds, you will have to witness Changure Bangaru Raja on the big screen.
Performances:
Karthik Ratnam as Bangarraju, a mechanic, is the center point of the whole film and the story revolves around him. His characterization as a confused youth is beautifully portrayed on the big screen. His comic timing and on screen presence are great.
Satya and Ravi Babu played prominent roles and generated loads of fun throughout the film, making it hilarious.
Technicalities:
Satish Varma has no doubt penned a very good crime thriller, which he has narrated in an engaging way. Blending murder, crime, a love story and comedy worked well in Changure Bangaru Raja making it an entertaining flick. He chose a unique point of view to narrate the story.
Sundar N.C.’s camera work was so precise that the movie was engaging and enjoyable throughout.
The background score by Krishna Saurabh made the film feel good as a whole.
Production values by RT Team Works were good.
