Bholaa Shankar Telugu Movie Story:
Shankar (Chiranjeevi) is a taxi driver in Kolkata who, on the other hand, fights against kidnapping and human trafficking. Is there any reason behind his killing spree? Is it related to his past and his sister Maha (Keerthy Suresh)? The movie also has a love story between him and Tamannaah. The rest of the story runs between Chiranjeevi and the others, who come to know about his killings and the reason behind them.
Bholaa Shankar Telugu Movie Review:
Chiranjeevi has no doubt delivered a powerful performance as Shankar with all the action sequences throughout the film. The relationship between the main characters starts with hate and slowly turns to love. The love story between Keerthy Suresh and Sushanth is also well executed. On the whole, Bholaa Shankar is a movie that is a good blend of emotions, comedy, action, and romance.
On-Screen Performances:
Megastar Chiranjeevi is the focus of attention in the film, Bholaa Shankar playing the titular role. His usual style of performance, along with the comic timing, has been well played along the plotline. He delivered an intense performance in the action scenes as well as the emotional sequences. The way he handled the character was impressive, and it is nothing new for Megastar to shine in the dance numbers with his moves and swag. Chiranjeevi imitating Pawan Kalyan’s style in the film is good, with some iconic dialogue and mannerisms.
Tamannaah Bhatia plays the role of a lawyer who helps Shankar, which is well carried by the actress. Keerthy Suresh (Maha), Chiranjeevi (Shankar)’s sister, has an important role in pushing the storyline forward. The consistency between Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh’s roles shifts throughout the film. Both of them pulled themselves into the roles so well, just as the content demanded.
Even though Sushanth appears for a shorter time than the other star actor in the film, his role is well-registered with the audience with his performance.
Off-Screen Highlights:
Meher Ramesh has really combined Chiru’s style, comic timing, and intensity with the Vedalam movie to deliver Bholaa Shankar to the audience. His style in making the action scenes has been clearly visible on screen. He has very well executed the vision and modifications he made to the original film. His comeback after a decade made his mark on the audience and will be remembered by them.
AK Entertainments’ production values for the film have been exceptional, with locations including Kolkata, songs in Switzerland, and other massive sets.
Mahathi Swara Sagar has provided the music and BGM. The songs he composed had already been trending on social media even before the release of the film.
End Note:
Bholaa Shankar is a family entertainment drama with emotions. It is a complete package in the theater, which can be all the Telugu audience wants.
