Ugram is the second collaboration between Naresh and director Vijay Kanakamedala after Naandhi. Mirnaa Menon is the female lead opposite Naresh. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi financed this film under the Shine Screens banner. The music director for the film is Sri Charan Pakala.
