Chiranjeevi has made 153 films so far in his career, in multiple languages. 153 movies are just a stat for his acting excellence, but his impact and influence on Telugu cinema go beyond that. Respecting all those efforts and contributions, the actor has received many awards and rewards, including the Padma Bhushan, a doctorate, Nandi awards, and many others. Megastar’s success was rewarded with yet another honor yesterday. The Government of India announces Chiranjeevi as the Indian film personality of the year 2022.
Chiranjeevi’s contributions to Indian cinema, particularly Telugu cinema, are unstoppable. He took Indian cinema to great heights, just like his career. Recognizing and respecting this, the Indian government announced Chiranjeevi as the Indian film personality for 2022. Union Minister Anurag Thakur made this announcement yesterday. Chiranjeevi will be honored at the IFFI (International Film Festival of India), Goa. Chiranjeevi is delighted with this honor, and he conveyed his gratitude to the IFFI, the Indian government, and all his fans.

Chiranjeevi currently has two films in his hands. Waltair Veerayya, Chiranjeevi’s 154th film, will be released in time for Sankranti 2023. Another film, Bhola Shankar, will be released in the summer of 2023.
