Both films were released in August, with just a one week gap between them. Sita Ramam gave the audience the experience of a beautiful love story. Karthikeya 2, on the other hand, received national acclaim for providing the audience with the best action and adventure thrills. Nikhil Siddhartha and Chandoo Mondeti delivered a blockbuster sequel.
