Sardar Telugu Movie Synopsis:
Sardar is the film that has lots of buzz among the releases this week. This is because of two things. One, primarily, is Karthi’s form, currently delivering back-to-back blockbusters. The second one is the efforts Karthi put in for the film. From the trailer, we know that Karthi played dual roles in the film, both as a father and a son. Also, Karthi is seen in multiple looks in the film as a spy. Sardar is a spy action thriller, and it is promising in its content. Well, both Karthi and PS Mithran, the director of Sardar, lived up to the promise and the expectations. Sardar was released in theatres today and is receiving positive reviews everywhere. Story:
Vijay Prakash(Karthi) is a popular cop in the city who focuses more on publicity stunts than solving cases. Well, one day, he takes charge of a mysterious death case of Samira(Laila), who fights against the privatisation of water bodies but ends up knowing about the evil world around her. He understands that the nation is under danger and decides to stand against it. Rathore(Chunky Panday) is the evil man behind all this. The only guy who can take over Rathore is Vijay Prakash’s father, Bose(Karthi), an espionage agent and a traitor who is in exile now. How the super spy gets back into action and saves the nation is the rest of the narrative of Sardar.
On-Screen Performances:
KARTHI is phenomenal in Sardar in playing the dual role, both as a son and a father. As a son, he is chased by the buzz around in society about his father being a traitor. As a father, Karthi is incredible as an unstoppable spy to protect the nation’s pride. Karthi portrayed both the roles with equality and ease. Also, Karthi mastered the art of comfortably appearing in multiple looks in the film. Sardar is undoubtedly Karthi’s masterwork to date.
Both RAASHII KHANNA and RAJISHA VIJAYAN are impressive in their roles. Well, both of them serve the same purpose, that is, assisting Karthi on his mission.
Off-Screen Highlights:
PS MITHRAN strictly sticks to the spy film genre to the very end of the film. The film is engaging right from the beginning to the end. The screenplay is very gripping. PS Mithran is brilliant at his writing as he delivered a spy action thriller with an underlying message to the audience about the protection of water bodies for the future. Mithran is once again successful in presenting the content and message together. Well, Mithran’s presentation of the character Bose is really outstanding. We get every bit of the character as a ghost, and so the betrayal concept is really rooted. On the other hand, Mithran handled the direction responsibilities at his best. It can be clearly noticed that Mithran had gone through a lot of research and references for the film, both from real and reel life.
All the other actors are equally important as they play different sidekicks in the film. Mithran’s brilliance is in the use of every actor for the respective role, which is appreciable.
All the technical aspects of the film tick the right boxes, making the film technically strong. GV PRAKASH’s background score and GEORGE’s cinematography are the technical highlights of the film.
