RRR is among the list of probables for the Oscar nominations this year, as shortlisted by the popular Hollywood magazine Variety, as known to us all. Many Hollywood filmmakers feel the same way that RRR might get an Oscar nomination this time. The Indian filmmakers strongly feel and support that RRR will surely be nominated for the Oscars in 2022 and even win in at least one category. All this craze is just because of one man’s vision, and that is SS Rajamouli, the director of RRR. SS Rajamouli is currently busy promoting his magnum opus film internationally, particularly in the US. Meanwhile, RRR is being discussed among the jury members, and a decision will be made soon.
RRR is expected to be sent to the Oscars committee by the Indian jury in two to three categories for sure. The Indian jury is considering three categories for an Oscar nomination: best international feature; best director; and best original screenplay. Well, the final call is awaited and every Indian film lover is very excited to know the decision of the jury. A few feel that RRR must be even sent for nominations in the category of best actor, with Jr NTR and Ram Charan in consideration.
