Shaakuntalam is written and directed by Gunasekhar. Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues for the film. Gunaa Teamworks produced the film. Dil Raju Productions is going to distribute the film. Prakash Raj, Gautami, and Mohan Babu played the other main characters in the film. Mani Sharma composed the music. Sekhar V Joseph is the cinematographer, and Prawin Pudi is the editor.
