Brahmastra is the best fantasy movie ever made in Indian cinema, written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. For Brahmastra, Ayan created India’s first original cinematic universe, Astraverse. Ayan wrote three parts for Brahmastra, a trilogy, as known to us all, and the first part, named “Shiva“, was released recently on September 9th. Ranbir Kapoor played the role of Shiva. The second part is titled “Dev,” as mentioned by Ayan Mukerji at the end of the first part. Dev is the father of Shiva. The actor who is going to play Dev is not revealed in the first part. There was no official statement from the makers, even to date. Well, there’s a lot of time for it to be revealed, as stated by the makers. Meanwhile, Ayan Mukerji, the director of Brahmastra, has come up with an official update for the sequel today.
Brahmastra Part Two: Dev has a lot of time to be started as planned by the makers of the film. But after watching the immense response from the audience for the first part, Ayan Mukerji decided to jump straight into making the sequel without further delay, with the energy of the audience. Ayan Mukerji also stated that he would take all the theories, good and bad, into consideration in making the second part of Brahmastra. With these statements from Ayan Mukerji, it is expected that the film Brahmastra Part Two: Dev will be going into production very soon, probably at the beginning of next year itself. Meanwhile, Ayan Mukerji will be doing groundwork to set up the sequel.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva collected 360 crores in 10 days across the globe. The film unit is very happy with the blockbuster success of the film. With no big movies releasing at the box office in the next few days, Brahmastra will be continuing to perform the same, marching towards the mark of 500 crores.
