Nagarjuna Akkineni and Amala Akkineni are the most adorable senior couple in the Telugu film industry. They might be a beautiful couple together, but when it comes to acting, they compete with each other to perform better, and we know who wins the battle. Of course, it’s the couple together. Well, we are going to witness one such battle again after ages between the Akkineni couple. It is going to be Nagarjuna versus Amala this Friday, September 9th, at the box office in Tollywood. It is because of the two movies, Brahmastra and Oke Oka Jeevitham, competing against each other at the box office this weekend.
Nagarjuna played a very important role in Brahmastra, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan. Nagarjuna will be seen in the role of Anish, representing the Nandi Astra in the film. Nagarjuna said during the promotion of the film that he is the strongest character in the film with the power of a thousand bulls. So, the Telugu audience can expect how much of a strong role the actor got in the Bollywood film. Also, Ayan Mukerji, the director of the film, said on several occasions that Nagarjuna used to be the backbone of the film and the guide for them during the production of the film.
Amala, on the other hand, played the role of a mother to Sharwanand in the film Oke Oka Jeevitha. Amala played such a kind of role previously in the film Life Is Beautiful, under the direction of Sekhar Kammula. Now she’s back in the same zone. The entire film unit of Oke Oka Jeevitham praised Amala a lot at the pre-release event, saying that the film would not have been as beautiful without her presence. Nagarjuna, who was at the premiere of the film, had tears in his eyes after watching Amala’s performance in the film.
So, keeping the competition aside, this Friday is going to be a great treat for the Telugu audience, especially the Akkieni fans, to witness the exceptional performances of the two great actors from Tollywood, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Amala Akkineni.
