SS Rajamouli is the presenter of Brahmastra in south India, as known to us all. Brahmastra is India’s biggest upcoming movie, with its release date being set for September 9th. The film is going to be released in multiple languages worldwide. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is releasing the film internationally. SS Rajamouli is taking care of Brahmastra personally in the south of India, being the presenter of the film. Brahmastra is being promoted aggressively by the makers in the south under the supervision of SS Rajamouli. Why is Rajamouli supporting Brahmastra this much? What might be the reason? Well, the director himself answered these questions yesterday at the Brahmastra press meet in Hyderabad.
SS Rajamouli at the Brahmastra movie press meet yesterday, said that he met Ayan Mukerji a few years back when Brahmastra was under production. He revealed that Ayan Mukerji narrated the story of Brahmastra to him, and he was very much impressed with the idea of creating an Astraverse, which focuses on the Astras of ancient India and their powers. “I have always been very fond of fantasy stories right from my childhood. I used to love and respect Hindu mythologies a lot. I am very interested in studying the stories of superheroes and their superpowers. Brahmastra has one such fantasy world, the Astraverse, in which there are many superheroes protecting the powers of Astras. That is what excited me at the very beginning of Ayan Mukerji’s narration. And then I am on board for Brahmastra with all the interest to share and explore Ayan Mukerji’s creative world,” said SS Rajamouli at the press meet yesterday.
Brahmastra is written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the lead actors in the film. Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy played prominent roles in the film. Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures together produced the film. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is releasing the film internationally. Brahmastra will be available in theatres from September 9th.
