Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became very close to Akkineni Nagarjuna on the sets of Brahmastra. The Bollywood couple themselves said the same on several occasions right from the beginning of the film’s promotions. Nagarjuna played a very prominent role in the film Brahmastra, as is known to us all. He represented the Nandi Astra in the film. Nagarjuna stood as a great support and guide for the team of Brahmastra during the production, as said by the film unit. He even actively participated in the promotion of the film. Speaking at the press meet yesterday in Hyderabad, Nagarjuna shared his memories from the sets of Brahmastra and also revealed his relationship with the young and beautiful couple of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Nagarjuna said that SS Rajamouli presenting the film Brahmastra is not a small thing and it is a very huge boost for the entire team. “Ayan Mukerji is the disciple of SS Rajamouli, and so he put all his efforts into the film, just like his Guru. Brahmastra is a visual treat, and everyone will love it. When it comes to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the beautiful couple in the film, I have known them since their childhood and today, they became my colleagues and co-stars in Brahmastra. I think we have crossed the borders of age and have become friends now,” said Nagarjuna at the Brahmastra press meet yesterday.
Brahmastra has a very huge star cast. While Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in the film, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy will be seen in other important roles. It is also known from a few sources that the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in a couple of special roles. Ayan Mukerji is the writer and director of the film. SS Rajamouli is presenting the film in south India. Brahmastra is going to be released on September 9th.
