Cobra, starring Vikram in the titular role, was released yesterday in theatres worldwide on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The film is getting positive reviews everywhere. Vikram is being applauded by the audience immensely for his extreme performance. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the action thriller with high technical standards. A few audiences, especially Chiyaan Vikram fans, would like to give it a second watch to witness the acting excellence of their favourite actor. But now they have a few suggestions and requests for the makers from their side. It is all about the runtime of the film.
Cobra, after getting a huge positive response from the general audience and positive reviews from the media and critics, is going to have a solid weekend for sure. But in order to attract more viewers to theatres, a few of the viewers on the release day, including the fans, friends, critics, media people, and others, raised the request to trim a few portions of the film so as to get a crisp runtime for the film. The makers of Cobra immediately responded to them on a positive note and arranged it as follows. “Cobra is now trimmed by 20 minutes. The trimmed version will be available in all south Indian cities from this evening,” stated the makers of Cobra officially.

Cobra is 3 hours and 3 minutes long and was released in theatres yesterday. The film is expected to be around 2 hours 40 minutes long after the announcement of the official trim version from the makers. Cobra is written and directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. Vikram was seen in a dual role and multiple shades in the film. In the film, he acted both as a genius mathematician and an intelligent criminal. Vikram’s performance in Cobra will undoubtedly be remembered as his best performance in his career for a long time.
